Who I am

This website is operated by Hanna Poole, trading as hannapoole.co. If you have any questions about how I handle your data, you can reach me at hello@hannapoole.co.

What data I collect

When you submit a form on this site, I collect the information you provide. Depending on the form, that means your name, email address, and whatever details you choose to include. If you take the career quiz and ask for your result by email, I collect your email address and your quiz result.

I do not use tracking cookies, analytics platforms, or any third-party advertising scripts on this site.

How I use your data

Information you send me is used to respond to you and, where relevant, to follow up about working together. I will not add you to any mailing list unless you have ticked the box asking to be added, and I will not sell or share your data with third parties for their own marketing.

Where your form submissions go

When you submit a form, it is sent to my own server and delivered to my inbox using Brevo, an email service. That covers the enquiry form, the coaching application, and career quiz results. If you tick the optional consent box on the enquiry form or the career quiz, your email address is also added to my mailing list, which is stored in Brevo. If you don't tick it, I only use your details to reply to you. You can read Brevo's privacy policy here.

Marketing emails

I only send marketing emails to people who have actively opted in by ticking the consent box. You will always get your quiz result whether or not you tick it. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. You can also email me and I'll remove you.

How long I keep your data

Enquiries and applications are kept for as long as needed to respond and, where we end up working together, for the duration of that work and a reasonable period afterwards. Mailing list data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data I hold about you. You can also ask me to stop using it, or object to how it's being used. To make a request, email hello@hannapoole.co and I'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
